On May 19 we will be marking the annual Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD).
The purpose of GAAD is to get people talking, thinking and learning about digital (web, software, mobile, etc.) accessibility and users with different disabilities.
There is a post about GAAD on the Ember.js blog driving community involvement with instructions for how to get involved.
Getting involved is easy - the Ember A11y team will be on hand to guide community accessibility efforts. In particular:
- Join #topic-a11y in the Ember Community Slack.
- Check out the list of issues in Ember community projects.
- Book a pairing session with someone from Ember A11y.
- Sign up for the Ember A11y mailing list.
